The story
I spent 12 years building the operational infrastructure that lets high-growth CPG brands scale. The pattern I saw across every one of those roles: emerging CPG brands reach a breaking point where growth outpaces their systems, and the fragility gets exposed fast. Understory Ops exists to help founders install the S&OP, procurement, co-manufacturer, and COGS discipline they need — before growth outruns their operations.
Based in Petaluma, California. I work with brands remotely and in person across the Bay Area and Sonoma County.
